Gaziantep University (GAUN) Vocational School of Social Sciences, Foreign Trade Program students carried out the "CLEAN CAMPUS" project with great devotion and success within the scope of Social Sensitivity Projects (TDP).
The "Clean Campus Project", which aims to raise awareness and sensitivity about hygiene, was carried out with great devotion and success. Assist. Prof. Dr. Ayça PEKMEZ BAHÇECİ and Assist. Assist. Hasan SAÇIKARA coordinated the project. Project Coordinators said, "We have carried out many projects that touch life with our students and aim to develop awareness of social sensitivity. However, during the Coronavirus Pandemic and the February 6 Earthquakes, we saw that the need to produce new and process-appropriate projects emerged. In this context, we developed this project idea to support our students and their friends who are studying with our students and to make them feel that they are with them. We also received the support of companies that sponsored our project with great sacrifice. On the other hand, we delivered the hygiene packages prepared to our students. At the end of all this, we have come up with this meaningful project."
Within the scope of the project, hygiene sets containing cologne, wet wipes, napkin wipes and soap were prepared for approximately 750 students. In addition, brochures explaining the project and its content were placed in the sets. With the hygiene sets prepared, our students who carried out the project were happy to raise awareness about hygiene. The students to whom the sets were distributed stated that the gifts were very meaningful and valuable for them.
